What This Means


If your contact form submissions are not arriving in your inbox, it’s usually related to email delivery settings.


This can happen because:

  • The website email system is not authenticated

  • Emails are being flagged as spam

  • Your inbox storage is full

  • The recipient email address was entered incorrectly


What You Can Check

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Make sure your mailbox is not full.

  • Confirm the form is sending to the correct email address.

Cause


Most hosting servers block PHP mail or emails fail authentication.


Resolution


Recommended Fix: Use SMTP

  1. Install an SMTP plugin (e.g. WP Mail SMTP).

  2. Connect it to:

    • Google Workspace

    • Microsoft 365

    • Your domain email account

  3. Authenticate the email account.

  4. Send a test email inside the plugin.


This resolves 90% of email delivery issues.
